What We Do
Kintigh's Nursery is a third generation reforestation and Christmas tree seedling nursery, founded by Senator Bob Kintigh and his wife Margaret in 1957.
Bob, a conifer enthusiast, was never satisfied with the status quo and introduced and experimented with new species and seed sources. Their son, Dan, and grandson, Quinn, now carry on this tradition of excellence, honesty, and hard work as they continually try to improve quality and service.

We strive to provide the highest quality seedlings and trees available on the market while keeping up with industry education and technological advancements. With an emphasis on survivability and field performance we aim to satisfy every customer.

Elle Pot Pioneers
Through Dan and Quinn’s endeavors to provide top grade trees, the nursery conversion to Elle Pots was not a difficult decision. We’ve done away with the outdated, traditional, Styrofoam growing containers and upgraded to growing Elle Pots in Air Trays. Via air pruning, these plugs develop more complex root architecture, resulting in faster establishment, increased survivability, and easier planting. Let the roots do the work!
